IF and WHEN you order and get this course would you please comment on it here?!! There seems to be A LOT of questions about the concepts in the book that are represented here on YouTube.

zestymike48 @ 7:01 pm

I would think that the MORE you know about "traditional music" the MORE confusing this book and DVD would be. The whole concept is about "thinking outside the box" and "bending the rules".

zestymike48 @ 7:01 pm

This book teaches you and even SAYS to forget the "rules"!! The whole "Adventure" in harmony is doing something OTHER THAN what you would "normally" do. I'd watch ALL; each and every one of his videos on YouTube FIRST before you order the book. If all of the videos make sense to you, then go for it!!

zestymike48 @ 7:01 pm

Honestly, I have looked at several actual lessons from this DVD course and it is just SO confusing and hence the "Adventures" in the title. He says that, for instance DITCH the "regular" 1, 4, and 5 theory as the primary chords! Instead play something ELSE in place of the "regular" 1, 4 and 5!!

Your progressions sound wonderful. You have given me new vision on how to look at the keyboard. I wanted to find out how to recieve the free DVD on tritone for youtube users. I am ordering your course and wanted to know if it could ship with my order. I also signed up for monthly newsletter. Keep up the great work you have really inspired me again.

Thanks

Hmm another confusing chord label:
E 6,9b5 is really
E13b5
you even have it voiced that way.

I think what you are basically trying to explain in this vid is tritone substitutes. IE the D7#9 is a tritone sub for Ab13.

M0rganstudios @ 7:01 pm

1 3 5+ 7 b10
is the same thing as
1 3 5+ 7 #9

They both have one minor third in them.

This is the first time I've ever heard anyone say b10!

greytarist @ 7:01 pm

Awesome lesson! (i liked that your fingers aren't in the way) so why don't u call your "b10" a #9 like the rest of the world?

Jarreau24 @ 7:01 pm

beautiful Job I love this be bless, JT

bioit2003 @ 7:01 pm

How do I order your book and what do you suggest for someone who is less than a beginner

madameve @ 7:01 pm

Yes they are one in the same
They both have the 3 and -3 in the chord

The 7b10+ has 1 3 5+ 7 b10 and the additional m3 is accounted for by the b10

When you call it a 7#9
The #9 accounts for the additional -3
thnx

tryme2pls @ 7:01 pm

b10? looks like G7#9#5 but sounds good love
