Dear cogermax91,
I’m so happy you find this interesting As I explain everything, I wish I could make it fun – but making scales and chords fun is not an easy task! lol Hopefully once we get around the full circle of 5ths we will have more fun with actual music! Thanks for your positive comments!!
Love,
Di
Dear bigredindian,

Ahhh, the old Em scale, a very interesting one indeed. ROFL at the cow with the teeth. I’m tellin’ ya, your lessons are very good and entertaining, Diane. Muy Bien! (Need to keep up what little spanish I know)
LOL. That’s my job in life, I guess. To be the pricking pin of your conscience! Sorry for the unintentional jab over the lyrics! Since my other
job in life is to ease people’s stress, let me quickly remind you that your vocal coaching of students precluded the singing of lyrics. You were too busy offering ‘musical lamaze’ to even have a thought for
actual lyrics. Since you mention it though, I’m agog for the next phase!! love, ~Terry your good/bad angel
Ah, Dear BocaFriend/Terry…… but there are actually *words* to Chopsticks! It’s not exactly in my key…. but you know what? I think I will teach the words next time!!!! I was feeling guilty that I didn’t teach the words already and reasoned with myself: aww…no one knows what I didn’t do!……and then, your comment made me feel even guiltier! grrrrr…..see? if you haven’t heard someone sing chopsticks, you just wait…. you are in for enlightenment at the highest level – haha
Love, Di
Nice Diane! I am learning so much! Having learned to play by ear I was playing in some of these scales and not really understanding why….like relative minors n stuff. Thank you!!! Peeeeeeeeace!
Welcome
