Piano Hero?
I was looking for something to help me learn some songs on the keyboard the other day, and thought to do a google search for 'Piano Hero', as in a guitar hero knock-off using a piano instead of a guitar. It came to my surprise that such a thing exists, and it's called Synthesia. Synthesia is pretty basic, but non like Guitar Hero, this actually helps you learn the songs (people who can play "Slow Ride" in Guitar Hero won't be able to play the song using a real guitar.. but these are things ...

You just download new midi files.. anywhere on the net. When you open Synthesia it asks which file you want to open. Click the file. That is it..
I actually also have Guitar Pro 5 which can export any guitar pro file to midi. So I download Guitar Pro tabs, convert Export to midi and Open them in Sythesia. It really is amazing!
What midi cable are you using??? I have the program and the first midi cable i purchased didn’t Work.. I now have the E-MU Xmidi 1×1 and it works perfectly..
can you tell me where did you get these MIDI?
so if i go out and buy an electric piano . it will work??

You connect you Piano to your PC using MIDI cables and viola Piano hero pretty cool huh! I bet youlearn fast like this

they aren’t playing anything really, it’s going all by it’s self it’s how it works

Synthesia works with any midi file… If you can find a midi file or convert a song into midi you can use it with synthesia..
