Thanks. I have never done piano with fiddle other than swing band and '50s Country music but always with vocals not instrumentals. I would just do the chords with an appropriate rhythm and practice a little beforehand and hope it works. You will surprise yourself at how good you will be if you take a chance and play at the gigs. It will just take some time. Thanks again.

Thank you for the great lessons. I live in Canada and go to old time barn dances. I was wondering if you could put a lesson together on chording piano with the fiddle. ie. Maple Sugar.. ty again.. Rick

Featureman @ 7:01 pm

You are welcome. I would suggest just practice very slowly and very gradually increase your speed.

Well , Thank You very much Mr. Tom
ur lessons are really helpful :))
But i still have the Same Problem since i was playing the piano when i was 11 years old.
The Problem is that i find it so hard to play with my both hands , i find that my left hand plays as the same as my right hand… I can't control it.
So it is hard to me to switch from C chord to A minor :((
But anyway Thanks alot :))

Featureman @ 7:01 pm

I'm Brazilian and here in Brasil I'm so glad that generos people like you help we learn piano and keyboard so easely. Now I can say that I learned my first rock steps with you. Thank you very much. Many and many people around the world who cannot pay for music lessons love you.

Featureman @ 7:01 pm

Thank you. I was amazed when I found out how easy it was to duplicate the sounds I heard Jerry Lee and Fats playing years ago when I first discovered chords. It is much easier than learning notes.

travisings @ 7:01 pm

thank you so much Tom i cant believe how good im getting in just 2 days . i had my keyboard for almoast 3 yrs and just used it for beats and bass lines or single notes . the built in lessons suck ,but your way of explaining the chords and progressions just clicked in my head and now im getting better each time i play
