How to Upgrade a PS3 Hard Drive

There's been things made with Terabytes…
Maybe they made the 250gb as a cheap alternative

250GB wow but what i cant see is why would anybody want a 250GB hard drive they will probably never use up all the space i have an 80GB and i have like 13GB left but i dont want one of them

Yea, it kinda sucks too. Since I have about 20 games as well. I'm hoping when I send it in that it won't take too long. Also, my PSN ID is on my profile if you want to add me or something you can.

my ps3 system is top notch now baby ooooh yeaaa got the newest firmware up date 2.76 and a 500gb hard drive ps3 on steroids LOOOOOK OUT LOL

Rayblade45…. Once I changed out the Hddrive with the 500GB hddrive and did the format update I had 465gb which is pretty damn good . no worries about memory space for a while I hope lol

Damn you won't be running out of space anytime soon :). BTW how much did it take out for the hard drive when you checked it? When I checked my 250GB HD before I restored everything I backed up it only had 232 GB.

I had a 40gb ps3 before I made the jump to a 500gb Hddrive that I use now which works awesome I must say =) before I made the switch to 500gb my 40gb hddrive filled up so fast that I almost had no space left some games take so much space like sf4 when you download it to the hddrive but it help's with the load time thats why I did it . Well hopefully knock on wood I will be fine now with the memory I have on the new hddrive lol

yeah I ran my old hddrive down to 512mb left . Then I said I needed to get a bigger one so I went with a 500GB HDDrive =)

I just did this because I was running out of space. I only had 9 GB left. I knew with all the games coming out that I would need more space. So I got a 250 GB HD.
