  7. WorldxWidexSuicide says:

This is a wonderful tutorial! I have the sheet music but I’m terrible at reading piano music… this is pretty much the first time I’ve picked up my keyboard and learned a song. I’m having trouble with it, but I’m learning slowly from watching others and also attempting to decode the bass clef part of the sheet music ^_^ This was a great start though, thank you (:

  8. mariocast says:

@Dana21895 The bass notes are the same in chorus, but the accompaniment is varied in the right hand during the chorus. You can purchase the sheet music to see how that right hand goes during the chorus.

  9. Dana21895 says:

do I use these chords in the chorus too?

  10. chaostears says:

wow this is in the wrong key.

  11. thetvuser666 says:

  18. societyangel says:

are you filipino? :D if so, kumasta na, titoooo? :D

  19. cameronmehl says:

Are you sure? I’ve seen a number of different versions. Also when you get past 8 or 10 or so measures you can’t use this repetition as taught as the words don’t sound correct with it… Maybe show the rest? Even if it’s just you playing and singing…

  20. hellopossie says:

    please show us the chorus!

  21. Skaluga says:

    Thank you!!

  22. Karrisa says:

@animalxing284: I try to be nice to everybody, but only spend the extra time to help people that show a strong commitment. If someone’s not willing to pay $3.95 for sheet music (of which I only get 32 cents), why spend time making a video for them? Also do some research on “Fair Use” and “Copyright”. Then you might understand why I only teach portions of musical works online.

  2. animalxing284 says:

Why are you only nice to people who buy the sheet music D<

  3. mariocast says:

@maisydaze: Thanks for purchasing the sheet music. If you send me a private video of you playing the part that you’re having trouble with, I can send a private video back to you giving you feedback and tips on how to make it sound the way you want it to.

  4. maisydaze says:

    Hi,
    Thanks for this tutorial!
I purchased the sheet music too. I have never taken lessons, yet just learn to play songs I like by the sheet music and by watching someone else play & listening to the music.
I am having some trouble with the part in which the lyrics “Games that never amount…” begin. It just doesn’t sound right and I can’t seem to find anyone playing it on YouTube that is using the same sheet music.
Any chance you can do a tutorial of more of the song?
    Thanks!

  5. animalxing284 says:

Great job at explaining it ^.^

@Rabidraider: Thanks for buying the sheet music, Mark. If you send me a YouTube message with a private video of the part of the song that you’re having trouble with, I’ll be delighted to send you back a private lesson video on that part.

  14. Rabidraider says:

I bought the music through your link, hope you get a well deserved kick back. Any chance you could do some more of this piece…

you taught it really well though, its the most well done piano tutorial i’ve found on youtube

  23. mariocast says:

@helenwazhere: I used a Yamaha Disklavier Mark IV Grand Piano connected to a MacBook Pro computer. The software programs to display the keys/pedals and notation were Home Concert Xtreme and Internet MIDI by Timewarp Technologies. I used ScreenFlow to record the screen captures and did final edits in iMovie ’09 for final edits.

  24. helenwazhere says:

    what program did u use?

  25. withu2inmind says:

I love this song, and I LOVE the way you have taught it!!! Thanks so much
